Hope you are all well and looking forward to the bowling season.
Having received numerous requests from the beginning of the year with regards to bringing forward the opening of the green we have now decided to open earlier than usual. I can confirm, that as of today, the green will be open for the 2022 season.
This decision has considered the wishes of our bowling members, whom collectively are keen to practice prior to matches being played. Over the past couple of seasons we are seeing that leagues are tending to start earlier, some through cup matches etc.
I’d like to add my thanks to Michael Schurok and Gordon Walker for their continued efforts in maintaining our green, I’m sure you will agree that it is looking in great condition once again. Also their helpers who cut the green, without their continued volunteering efforts we wouldn’t be able to provide such a well maintained green.
